We’ll create a simple mockup so you can see how everything will come together before your piece is made. Once the details and timeframe are confirmed, we’ll start making your piece by hand in our studio.

How long do custom orders take?

Custom orders typically take 4–6 weeks to complete. This allows time for making, drying, firing, glazing, and final quality checks. If you’re working to a specific date, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible.

How much do custom pieces cost?

Pricing depends on the type of piece and the level of customisation involved. Once we’ve discussed your idea, we’ll provide a clear price before any work begins.

Can I choose colours or designs?

Yes! You can request almost any design you like — from rainbows, balloons, or trucks, to cowboy boots, bugs, or even a dinosaur on a bicycle. When we create your mockup, we’ll simplify the design where needed so it works beautifully in clay. We’ll also help with colours and style to make sure the finished piece looks great and is practical to make.

Can I request a specific font or layout?

We have a few tried-and-true font sizes. Your text will be thoughtfully arranged to suit the piece, keeping it balanced, legible, and in a style that works beautifully with handmade ceramics.

Do you ship custom orders?

Yes — custom pieces can be shipped nationwide. Local pickup or delivery in Christchurch is also available.
